Business Families Foundation

Business Families Foundation (BFF) is a not-for-profit charitable organization established in 1990 to support, help, and empower business families to ensure their sustainability and harmony for generations to come. Based in Montreal, the Foundation has reached thousands of families in over 60 countries worldwide.

Established by owners, for owners – BFF aims to act as a neutral platform where the family business community can come together and learn from one another.

Business Families Foundation delivers relevant, interactive, and engaging education on important topics relevant to business families around the world. Each month, over 10,000 individuals hailing from entrepreneurial families consult the BFF website to reap the benefits of their online training, activities, and testimonials.

The Foundation advocates for a “family-first” frame of mind, believing in inclusive learning, staying close to your roots both in values and legacy, and creating supportive lines of communication for the success of the next generation.

BFF recognizes that family businesses play a major role in the economy. To stimulate growth, they aim to encourage the rising generation to not only be involved in the family business, but also to take ownership of new, innovative initiatives that will add value to the organization as well as enhance the family legacy.
